The pH balance in human blood flow is recognized by all texts of medical physiology as one of the most important biochemical balances in all chemistry of the human body.
pH is the acronym for "Potential Hydrogen". By definition, it is the degree of concentration of hydrogen ions in a substance or solution. It is measured on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 14. Higher numbers mean that a substance is more alkaline in nature and there is a higher potential to absorb more hydrogen ions. Smaller numbers indicate more acidity with less potential to absorb hydrogen ions.
The pH of our body is very important because the pH controls the speed of our body's biochemical reactions. It does this by controlling the rate of enzymatic activity, as well as the speed at which electricity moves through our body.
The higher (more alkaline) the pH of a substance or solution, the more electrical resistance it has. Therefore, electricity moves more slowly at a high pH. All biochemical reactions and electricity (life) are under the control of pH.
Do you see people who are exhausted, "burning" and getting angry quickly? Do you see an increase in violence? In part, it could be due to the fact that today's people are running at an acidic pH. As a society we run hot and fast. How did I get there?
