Joe Hermes is a Bloomington, Illinois-based singer/songwriter with a deeply emotive style that takes in rock, outlaw country, and the troubadour tradition. Difficult life circumstances kept him in and out of playing music most of his life but his talent and desire were always there.

He also performs solo and with his band Sundown Renegade throughout the Midwest region. Now, Joe makes music for his own reasons. “I wouldn't know how else to keep sane,” he says, “It is my outlet and medium of choice to help communicate not only to myself but to others.”
